Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Madras Hire collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, mobile number, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and for employers, company name.
- Job seeker details: city, experience, skills, resume files, and notes you write when applying.
- Employer details: job postings you publish.
- Technical data: IP address for security and a session cookie to keep you logged in.
How we use it
- To run the service: show jobs, process applications, and let you track them.
- To share your application details (name, mobile, email, skills, note and resume) with the employer of each job you apply to. We do this only when you submit an application.
- To keep the service safe, prevent misuse, and contact you about your account.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. Your resume is visible only to you, the employer you applied to, and site administrators for support and moderation.
Employers
If you receive candidate details through Madras Hire, you may use them only to evaluate and contact the candidate about the job they applied for. You must not share or sell candidate data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Your choices
You can update your profile and resume at any time. You can ask us to delete your account and data by writing to spriyaldiary@gmail.com. Deleting a job also deletes its applications.
Retention and security
We keep data while your account is active. Resume files are stored privately and served only to authorised users. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
